Linear Sans Typeface

The Sans Serif typeface Linear Beta is designed from 2022–2024 for the font foundry Typo Graphic Design by Manuel Viergutz based on a font by Jens Kreitmeyer for an alphabetization app.

9 font-styles (Black, UltraBold, Bold, SemiBold, Medium, Regular, Light, ExtraLight, Thin ) with 500+ glyphs (Adobe Latin 2) incl. 100+ decorative extras like icons, arrows, catch words, dingbats, emojis, symbols, geometric shapes (type the word #LOVE for ❤ or #SMILE for ☺ as OpenType-Feature dlig) and stylistic alternates (4 stylistic sets).

Characteristics of the font are good legibility in the form of a large x-Height (easier to read at small sizes), an large Apertures of the lowercase letter “a” or “e” and a large Counter (direct effect on a optimise legibility).
